GOLDEN Launches Four New QoR Artist Watercolors Half Pan Sets

Set Palettes Created Based on Four Popular Themes in Watercolor Today

QoR Artist Watercolors, which are manufactured by Golden Artist Colors, introduces a range of new half pan sets in its most popular set format – the QoR mini.  This all-new range of sets offers four curated palettes built around some of the hottest themes in watercolor today – Intensity, Granulators, Reflective, and Urban Sketch. Each set comes with six half pans of QoR color plus six empty half pans, giving artists the option to personalize their palette with additional colors, or to remove the empty pans to include a travel brush.

The Intensity set offers a well-balanced mixing palette of some of our most intense colors to create bright, clean mixtures. Colors included in this set are Hansa Yellow Light, Transparent Pyrrole Orange, Quinacridone Magenta, Dioxazine Purple, Cerulean Blue Chromium, and Phthalo Turquoise.

The Granulators set includes a collection of our favorite granulating QoR colors.  Selected for artists who adore this unique watercolor effect, featured colors are Ultramarine Pink, Ultramarine Violet, Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue Chromium, Cobalt Teal, and Cobalt Green.

The opalescent and metallic nature of six mica-based paints in the Reflective set expands the palette of visual effects possible from watercolors.  With three iridescent colors and three all-new interference colors, this specialty palette is the perfect tool to add some shimmer to artists’ work.  Colors featured in the Reflective set are Iridescent Gold (Fine), Iridescent Pearl (Fine), Iridescent Silver (Fine), Interference Violet, Interference Blue, and Interference Green.

The last set for this launch is the Urban Sketch set, which was curated to create a foundational palette for urban sketching.  This combination of granulating and non-granulating colors allows for a wide variety of mixtures - clean bright colors, chromatic neutrals, and textural effects.  Colors included are Benzimidazolone Yellow, Quinacridone Red, Cobalt Blue, Cobalt Teal, Van Dyke Brown, and Payne's Gray.
